The symposium series aims to gather researchers from and beyond Europe to exchange ideas and discuss fire safety science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-5b9cbc20 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The symposium is scheduled to take place in <strong>Prague, Czechia from September 8<sup>th<\/sup> to 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program typically foresees oral and poster sessions for the presentation of fully peer-reviewed papers over the three days, including invited plenary lectures from world\u2019s top fire science researchers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-container-core-quote-is-layout-80649b76 wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>main topics<\/strong> of the symposium will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:2px;padding-bottom:2px\">Material behaviour in fire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:2px;padding-bottom:2px\">Wildland fires \/ Wildland-urban fires<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:2px;padding-bottom:2px\">Structure-fire interactions <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:2px;padding-bottom:2px\">Fire safety engineering <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technical sessions will be dedicated to each topic, with selected oral presentations followed by poster sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ESFSS 2027 follows the successful conferences held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 2025, Barcelona (Spain) in 2024, Nancy (France) in 2018, Nicosia (Cyprus) in 2015 and Zurich (Switzerland) in 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2829\" height=\"1290\" src=\"https:\/\/esfss2027.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Group_photo_ESFSS_2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Czech Technical University in Prague (Czechia) is delighted to invite you to the 6th European Symposium on Fire Safety Science.
